ADORN was established after years of work in the development sector of Asia. Our work with artisans and NGO’s has continually supported the theory that both urban and rural prosperity are constrained by a lack of capital coupled with a lack of access to viable markets and buyers. The handicrafts sector has been constrained not by a lack of skills, talent, or entrepreneurial spirit; not by culture, but by political and economical constraints and limited options available to both rural and urban artisans.
