Learning Goal/Purpose Statement: The purpose is a statement of intent that reflects the rationale for the activity and describes how this activity will enrich the Registered Nurse’s contributions to quality health care and his or her pursuit of professional career goals by addressing identified gaps in knowledge, skills, attitude or practice based on the needs assessment.
